All art works are unconditionally guaranteed authentic, as described. Exception: Paintings carries a one year guarnttee of authenticity. This is due to the more transient nature of scholarship among academics specialising in this field.

Art works purchased from us may be returned within two months (65 days) of receipt for a full refund or exchange, at the customer's discretion.

Shipping via registered airmail or EMS, are charged at exact postage in addition to the purchase price. (No charge for packing, handling insurance or any other charges.)

As payment we welcome bank transfer and cashier's cheques. Personal cheques are also welcome, subject to clearance prior to shipping. All major credit cards are accepted via Paypal.

Terminology

Hold - A client is considering a purchase , usually on consideration for 1-4 days, most often leads up to a purchase decision.
Reserved - A previously unknown client purchased the print, We are awaiting payment. 1-3 weeks. This sale might be cancelled if the payment doesn't arrive. However in the 35 years we have been dealing it has only happened less then 10 times.

Japanese Print Dealers and Galleries - Index

I have selected some of the galleries/art dealers on the Internet who are dealing in Japanese woodblock prints. We have tried to mostly select art dealers and galleries, which have been or are clients of us and we believe are ethical dealers, But please do your research and compare the items well. One dealer complained to me; I only had the dealer’s names for getting hits from the people who makes Google searches on those names. Of course this is not true. In 6 months I have had about 50 "hits" from searches by "dealers names", about 45 of these searches were preformed by the dealers themselves or competing dealers!! Six searches (on specific dealers names) were preformed by "normal people", five of which left within a few seconds as the website was not relevant to their search. One person stayed longer and emailed me about a dealer whom he was trying to get hold of. After verifying the legitimacy of the inquiry, I asked the dealer to contact the enquirer.

The dealers listed below are for the convenience for the readers of this blogg to be able to find other Japanese print dealers on the Internet. We know we are alone among all dealers to have a list of the competition. However we do not fear any comparison. We rather encourage you to compare!
